Expander Processing
All Fisher Feeds go through an expansion process in manufacturing. Our expanded pellets show improved pellet quality, nutrient digestibility and contain lower microbial (salmonella and other pathogenic microbes) levels than the alternative. Expanded starter feeds, quite common in Europe, have shown dramatic improvements for daily gain, feed intake, feed conversion and reduction of diarrhea.

Enzyme Enhanced
The feeding program also uses a 3-phytate enzyme (applied post pelleting) to efficiently break down phytate. Due to its superior bio-efficacy, the enzyme produces a maximum release of digestible phosphorus and other phytate-bound nutrients. The animal utilizes more feed phosphorous, instead of it being lost with the manure.

Food Safety
Fisher Feeds has always been concerned with food safety. Because of this concern, we take care in ensuring that all of our swine rations contain no ruminant meat and bone meal. Our facilities are HACCP certified and exceed all Canadian Food Inspection Agency requirements.

Liquid Feeding Systems (Supplements)
Our manufacturing process includes expansion, which allows our supplement when mixed with concentrated whey or other liquids to remain in suspension and not settle, ensuring a uniform complete feed.
